Short-Term and Long-Term Bond Yields Rise: On Monday, the two-year yield increased by 3.4 basis points to 4.63%, and the 10-year rate rose by one basis point to 4.28%.
Dollar Index Slightly Up: The dollar index edged up by 0.09% to 105.07 on Monday, indicating a modest strengthening of the US dollar against other currencies.
Crude Oil Prices Drop: West Texas Intermediate crude oil declined by 1.1% to $82.27 per barrel on Monday, while Brent futures fell by 4 cents to $85.71 per barrel.
Precious Metals Decline: Gold dropped by 1.3% to $2,365.80 per troy ounce, and silver decreased by 2% to $31.05 per ounce.
