Hyundai Motor India partners with Amara Raja to integrate Made-in-India AGM batteries into its domestic line-up by Q4 FY25. This move boosts localisation efforts and impacts Hyundai Motor India share price.
Hyundai Motor India has announced plans to equip its domestic product line-up with Amaron’s indigenously developed AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery technology. The batteries, manufactured by Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, will be used as SLI (Starting, Lighting, and Ignition) batteries and are scheduled for rollout in Q4 of FY25.
