ITI Limited, a state-run telecom product manufacturer, has won contracts worth Rs 64 crore. These include a Rs 35-crore project for Wi-Fi & LAN setup at Sambalpur University, Odisha, and a Rs 29.14-crore integrated security system for six Mumbai railway stations under Central Railways.

The Sambalpur University contract involves setting up campus-wide Wi-Fi and LAN across 80 locations, enhancing both network security and accessibility. ITI will supply and install a secure wireless controller with advanced features, including user authentication and restricted access for unauthorised users.
The Central Railways contract focuses on implementing an IP-based video surveillance system at six stations: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Dadar, Kurla, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Thane, and Kalyan. This project includes installing over 1,400 cameras, with annual maintenance for five years following the three-year warranty.
