NTPC Green Energy Ltd (NGEL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Honeywell UOP India to explore the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The MoU, signed on 25 April 2025, focuses on conducting a feasibility study for SAF production by leveraging Honeywell's proprietary eFining technology, green hydrogen from NTPC projects, and captured carbon dioxide emissions from NTPC’s power plants. This strategic partnership will contribute to India's growing efforts towards decarbonisation in the aviation sector.
