Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) has announced the commissioning of a 250 MW solar power project in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, through its wholly owned step-down subsidiary, Adani Solar Energy AP Eight Private Limited. The project, finalised on March 8, 2025, enhances AGEL’s renewable energy capacity, reinforcing its leadership in India’s clean energy sector. The company’s total operational renewable energy capacity now stands at 12,591.1 MW.
The decision to commence operations followed regulatory approvals received on March 11, 2025. This expansion aligns with AGEL’s broader strategy to scale up its renewable energy portfolio and contribute to India’s green energy targets.

Adani Green Energy posted strong financial growth in Q3FY25, with a consolidated net profit increase of over 85% to Rs.474 crore, compared to Rs.256 crore in Q3FY24. The company’s revenue from operations rose by 2.3% to Rs.2,365 crore from Rs.2,311 crore in the previous year.
However, AGEL’s EBITDA declined by 4% year-on-year to Rs.1,601 crore from Rs.1,666 crore, leading to a drop in its EBITDA margin from 72.1% to 67.7%.
