Impact of Price Hikes

This marks the second consecutive monthly increase in jet fuel ATF prices, which had earlier risen by 3.3% in November. In addition to the ATF hikes, commercial LPG rates for hotels and restaurants have seen a ₹172.5 increase since August, now priced at ₹1,818.50 per 19-kg cylinder.

Meanwhile, domestic LPG rates remain stable at ₹803 for a 14.2-kg cylinder. Petrol and diesel prices have also stayed unchanged in Delhi, currently priced at ₹94.72 and ₹87.62 per litre, respectively, since their reduction in March.

The consistent hikes in jet fuel ATF and commercial LPG prices underline their dependence on global oil price trends. These changes are expected to have a cascading impact on various sectors, particularly aviation and hospitality.
