What is a stop-limit order and how is it different from a stop order?

A stop-limit order is an order to buy or sell a stock when it reaches a certain price. It's like a safety net for your investments.

Here's how it works: You set a stop price and a limit price. When the stock reaches the stop price, the order becomes a limit order. The trade happens only if the stock is available at the limit price or better.

Stop order vs stop-limit order: A stop order triggers a trade at the next available price. But a stop-limit order ensures the trade happens at the price you want or better.
