Bosch Limited, a leading supplier of technology and services, has announced its financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2024-25, ending December 31, 2024. The company reported a revenue from operations of ₹4465.7 crore, reflecting a 6.0% increase from ₹4205.2 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. However, the net profit for the period decreased by 11.6% to ₹458.1 crore, down from ₹518 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue Growth: Revenue from operations increased by 6.0% year-over-year, from ₹4205.2 crore to ₹4465.7 crore.
Net Profit Decline: Net profit decreased by 11.6%, from ₹518 crore to ₹458.1 crore.
Total Income: Total income rose by 6.7%, reaching ₹4654.7 crore compared to ₹4359.9 crore in the previous year.
Total Expenses: Total expenses increased by 6.5%, amounting to ₹3990.1 crore, up from ₹3748 crore.
Exceptional Items: The company reported exceptional items totaling ₹47.1 crore, compared to ₹58.8 crore in the previous year.
In the third quarter of FY24-25, Bosch Limited experienced a modest growth in revenue from operations, achieving ₹4465.7 crore, a 6.0% increase from the previous year's ₹4205.2 crore. The total income for the quarter stood at ₹4654.7 crore, up from ₹4359.9 crore, indicating a 6.7% growth.
Despite the increase in revenue, the company's net profit for the period declined by 11.6%, totaling ₹458.1 crore compared to ₹518 crore in the same quarter last year. This decrease can be attributed to higher total expenses, which rose by 6.5% to ₹3990.1 crore from ₹3748 crore in the previous year.
Bosch's automotive products segment, which accounts for a significant portion of the company's revenue, contributed substantially to the overall performance. The segment's performance was driven by increased sales in passenger cars and off-highway applications, particularly genset applications. The Power Solutions business, constituting 73% of the overall automotive product sales, grew by 5.7% over the same quarter of the previous financial year.
