The company showed a slight rise in revenue performance (₹4,016.72 crore, from ₹3,979.83 crore last year), while PAT reflected a decline compared to the same period (from ₹202.69 crore to ₹158.44 crore). Key highlights include revenue growth and the strategic investment in greenfield battery manufacturing.
Revenue from operations for Q3 FY25 stood at ₹4,016.72 crore, a slight increase from ₹3,979.83 crore in Q3 FY24.
Net Profit After Tax (PAT) for Q3 FY25 was ₹158.44 crore, reflecting a decline from ₹202.69 crore in Q3 FY24.
Other income for Q3 FY25 was ₹12.69 crore, lower than ₹25.20 crore in Q3 FY24.
Total income for the quarter was ₹4,029.41 crore, slightly higher than ₹4,005.03 crore in Q3 FY24.
Exide Industries delivered Revenue from Operations of ₹4,016.72 crore in Q3 FY25, marking a modest increase from ₹3,979.83 crore in Q3 FY24. However, Net Profit After Tax (PAT) saw a significant decrease, falling to ₹158.44 crore compared to ₹202.69 crore in the corresponding period last year. Profit Before Tax (PBT) logged at ₹238.02 crore in Q3 FY25, next to ₹280.64 crore in Q3 FY24.
Exide continues to focus on its core segment of Storage Batteries and Allied Products, without significant changes in revenue composition. However, operational efficiency remains a key area of focus for the company, given the current market pressures.

EBITDA: As per the available data, Profit Before Tax (PBT) was ₹238.02 crore in Q3 FY25.
Earnings Per Share (EPS): ₹1.84 in Q3 FY25.
Exide Industries is placing a strong emphasis on its core segment, Storage Batteries and Allied Products. In line with this focus, the company has also announced plans to further invest up to ₹300 crore in Exide Energy Solutions Limited (EESL) to establish a multi-gigawatt lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility, highlighting its commitment to advancing in the renewable energy and electric vehicle sectors.
Exide Industries Limited reported progress in its investment strategy with plans to further invest up to ₹300 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary, Exide Energy Solutions Limited (EESL), to establish a multi-gigawatt Lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility in India. Additionally, the Board informed of changes in senior management personnel, with Dr. Dipak Sen Chaudhuri and Mr. Arnab Saha ceasing to be Senior Management Personnel, effective January 28, 2025.
