TRADE SETUP FOR FEB 24
Nifty Short-Term Outlook:
Nifty 50 index continues to face headwinds, driven by both domestic and global factors. Recently closing below the critical 22,800 level, the index remains under bearish pressure.
Over the past 13 sessions, Nifty has struggled, barring a brief recovery at the start of last week (ended February 21), which failed to generate sustained momentum. With the index hovering near the lower range of 22,900–22,700 and repeatedly failing to breach the 23,000 resistance, the crucial 22,700 support level appears vulnerable.
Volatility to remain at elevated levels due to concerns surrounding US tariff-related developments. A breakout above 23,050 would pave the way for further upside, towards the 20-day EMA placed around 23,250 levels. Conversely, a break below 22,700 may intensify selling, dragging Nifty toward 22,500-22,300.
Intraday Levels:
Nifty: Intraday resistance is at 22,940 followed by 23,050 levels. Conversely, downside support is located at 22,720, followed by 22,650.
Bank Nifty: Intraday resistance is positioned at 49,080, followed by 49,500, while downside support is found at 48,520, followed by 48,340.
